Wow. Mother Nature's beauty never fails to impress. Congratualtions on taking such a magical shot, i am here to critique why i think it's just so good =]
The Setting. A farm, a drive-way, a forest; "It could be anywhere in the world" -alexisonfire
This photo was captured at just the right time of day, i'm not quite sure whaether as it's sunrise or set, but the rays of light beaming throughout the trees is beauitful, i think it's sunrise because im sure i can see a bit of morning mist.
I particularly like the focus on the tallest, middle tree, like the eldest of a family, and how you've included the foreground of rich flora.
The colours in this photo are magnificent, were there some edits involved?
Thankyou for sharing this truely stunning deviation with us, you have a real gift and the best part is your open to the beauty that surrounds us.
This is an amazing picture; I think it is an incredible capture of light and shadow. I can't imagine how you got this picture, but it's very impressive.
Obviously, the first thing I'm going to comment on is the lighting – what makes this piece so fantastic. The rays of light in the smoky air are so beautiful, especially overtop of the darker shapes such as the tree trunk in the center. I especially love the detail of the bushes and the little shadows of the leaves. The smoky air adds a great sense of depth to this shot, and I like the softening of shadow deeper in the picture. The variations of darkness is quite stunning. The dark tree on the left is a really interesting frame to the picture, but since it is only on one side, it feels slightly lopsided. This 'lopsidedness' is strengthened by the fact that it's the darkest part of the picture. The tree in the center is really cool, but somewhat too centered. It seems a little .. simple, for lack of a better world.
