Looks fantastic. So difficult to capture the feel (we have a lot of crows in the field beside us) but this is perfect.

Thanks, Pam - yes, they fill the whole sky when they're 'at it' in a feeding frenzy, don't they? And they're not remotely neat & symmetrical, like geese. But that's what I like about them - anarchists! ;)

I've never watched the birds but I can definitely see the link! What gets me most is the way the sky seems to be falling down on itself. The birds add more feeling of chaos as well though.

Yes, the sense of apocalypse was definitely in the air on the day - quite literally in the air! And the cries of these scores of gulls & crows fighting it out over aerial territory was deafening - think I'll flick the video switch & get some soundtrack if it happens again!
