Love the decay of old boats, this is no exception.

Doesn't 'CN' denote Campbeltown? I may send a link of this to a few friends, see if anyone knows it. Was there a name too?

Yes, Steve - it's 'Wellspring", not sure about the Campbeltown connection. See this link - [link]

If this is the one I'm thinking of, we drive past it on every visit to Ross Bay! I've wanted to take pictures of it for ages, but I don't think I could do it the justice that you have! Great shot :)

Thanks for dropping by again, Jen - this wreck is on the banks of the Dee, tucked away by the shellfish processing plant on the outskirts of Kirkcudbright. Not on a 'through' road... You might be thinking of another wreck on the Borgue coastal road, just past the Stell - there's one by an old shipyard drydock shell there... but maybe not! Whereabouts are you, where are you coming from?

Ah, it's obviously not the same one I'm thinking of. I live in Preston but come up to Kirkcudbright & surrounding areas quite a lot as my mum & partner have a caravan at Ross Bay.

Love the colours, how the sky seems to rust along with the boat. Brilliantly captured :D

Many thanks, Darren. Very nice draughtsmanship on your recent lifedrawing submission btw
