Sorry to buck the trend of universal praise, but for me this shot is really over-processed, particularly the sky. The halo around the horizon is a give-away, and the focus seems off. I do like your colours, though, as always.

No problem, Felicity. May sound trite, but I really did want to give the shot a deliberately alien & artificial look - the original looked stark & bleak enough, and but just a bit flat to be frank. The 'real' experience was one of an other-worldly place where humans didn't quite fit in. So the halo-horizon & a sense of visual 'discomfort' was what I was after. Plus I really don't like the shortcut of HDR to achieve a similar feeling. Many thanks.
