Ordinarily, when something is a DD and has so many faves, I would not comment...  but this is fantastic.  And you made it look absolutely immense!

This sounds to me like the Iron Maiden song of the same name, it is the very first time I see a picture of a true one, and that's impressive.

Many thanks - I didn't build the figure btw, just photographed it! It's an 8 metre tall effigy erected on the site of an annual music festival in southwest Scotland (Dumfries & Galloway). It's also co-incidentally the location of scenes from a sinister cult movie of the same name - the Wickerman - made in the 1970s

In a sense, yes: it's an 8 metre tall effigy made of lengths of seasoned willow (or 'wicker'), built for a music festival in southwest Scotland, named after a sinister cult film - 'The Wickerman' - which was shot in the region in the 1970s

Wow, you can fit, like, ten Nicholas Cages in there if they all rolled up into balls.

...

Yeah, sorry about that reference.

Many thanks, Jenkins: I prefer the 1970s 'Wickerman' original, personally - much though I admire the work of Mr Cage! Many scenes of the original were filmed in the region (Dumfries & Galloway in southwest Scotland) where this 8 metre tall effigy was built

I'm guessing most people prefer the original XD

I've always wanted to visit that area.
